I Need More Time to Sit Down and Write
Here I am, trying to type something in at half past midnight...

I took this picture on the bus home from work last Tuesday (15 March 2011). One of the Chiefs at the Department had a surplus of jellybeans and thought of sharing. No matter how small this gesture was, it made my day. Jellybeans, with their bright and quirky colors, put a little bit of happy in my life.
On another day, I got a foot long bar of chocolate from Australia. This one was from one of the Division Chiefs belonging to a bureau not even being handled by our office. I was hungry and was in need of a sugar rush at that time so the thought of taking a photo of it did not cross my mind at all. I can tell you though, it was an extremely sweet treat.
Bottom line: people can really be sweet when they want to be. No wonder I'm gaining weight!

I Started With the Sheets
Hello you, it's been a while.
I guess you could say so much has happened since the last time we talked. I'm sorry I couldn't find the time, or the heart, to tell you all about it. There were good times, and there were the bad. To start it off, let me warn you that this entry will have no rhyme or order. I am just going to tell you about the prevalent things/events for the past three-plus months of my life.
1) I found new friends and reacquainted with the old.
Regarding the former, I now look forward to Maginhawa Fridays where Anna, Pu and I try out a different food establishment along Maginhawa Street every Friday. Last Friday was Black Soup. I plan to document our next adventure. Just wait for it. I met Anna when I went to the UP Fair 2011 with Pu and Bene. That, in itself, is another first for another story.
As for the latter, I had a Tarsdi Masahi (Thursday Massage) date with Mimi Pascual, along with our surprise guest Danica Pasia. It was my first time ever to get a massage at a spa. I loved it. I would not mind doing it again. I would not mind meeting Mimi again. I missed that woman. I have the best life seeking conversations with her. I wish I had taken photos.
2) It has been four weeks. Four weeks since I let my heart spill out like it has never experienced before. I have been sad. Sad and crying. I have been trying to understand the way things turned out. Why it had to turn out the way it did. I found no concrete answers, to be exact, but it's getting better. There is still some pain left. However, as the others say, the pain is proof of a love that was true. I am just glad that the tears do not come as easily as they used to anymore. I'll get to moving unlike a shattered shell soon enough.
3) Five weeks. It has been five weeks since our house help left. My mother has been great about it: cleaning the house, cooking the meals, while still finding the time to get work/tutorials done. Simple fact: mothers are amazing. They are superwomen, I tell you. I have also been trying to get a handle on cleaning things, both externally and internally. Did I tell you I rearranged my room? Slowly, bit by bit, I am reorganizing -- this includes my room and my life.
4) I hit the six month mark of working with the Department of Energy last Wednesday, 23 February 2011. Yes, six months of working as an executive assistant. Six months of travelling to Taguig City. Six months of waking up at 4:30 in the morning. I wonder how fast the next six months will pass?
Uh-oh. Talk about time passing, it is already the early part of Monday morning and I was supposed to be asleep 3 hours ago. Wish me luck. I will try to write more often.
